After the closure of the Weekend FT magazine,
I found myself, (and still do), producing freelance editorial projects for varied clients. This Design Council magazine was not only designed by me, but I also arranged the printing and selection of the paper stock. Touching The State was all about what is meant to be a citizen of the UK, containing research commissioned by the Design Council and project feedback submitted by people who have had some connection with the state on a personal level. The magazine also featured photography by Stephen Gill, and illustrations by Anthony Burrill.
