A magazine for current, and past alumni of London Business School. I was asked to design and art direct this title after Cedar Communications won the contract. Tasked with constructing a smart, contemporary magazine, the readership had to engage with the intelligent content and also feel a sense of being closely connected to the School. A large part of the design was about portraying the many head-shots in the magazine in different ways.
I used some very different techniques, which also helps to divide LBS columnists from featured people. As well as that, I commissioned Mischa Haller to do much of the portrait photography. I design and art direct the title, and produce many of the illustrations myself. LBS described the magazine as ‘awesome’. Praise indeed!
